ok, so I don't know if i ever posted these pictures.Life has been nuts. And if anyone wnats copies, just let me know. But htis is my Brother on an mission to Panama City. I havent heard fro him for awhile but last word is he is doing great and loving it.

a moment of Gratitude....

so Im reading this blog entry by mark and bre. If you get a chance you need to read it. It on my blog list.Bre was Ben's kindergarten teacher. While im reading it Ben is screaming in the background and I just start crying. Not because Ben is screaming but because i started to think about all the amazing people in our lives that have helped us with Ben. How much having Ben as a part of our family has changed all of us so drastically. Even though the days can seem long and frustrating, how blessed I am to be his mother and how I wouldn't have it any other way.
So I just wanted to say thanks to all of you amazing people who have helped us, loved us and more importantly loved Ben. We love you !

house renovations...Let the fun begin !

so we decided to start fixing up the house with the hope of one day,maybe, selling it and getting something a little bigger. But even if we do end up staying here then it will be that much nicer for us.

The before picture i took got erased, but here is a pic of our bathroom and Ben's room after the walls got redone, but before they are painted. we are also going to refinish our hardwood floors.

it will be nice to get it all put back together. Right now my living room is Ben's bedroom and the kitchen sink is also the bathroom sink. but overall not to bad.

I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Ben's Cabbage

This is Ben's cabbage. Doesn't it look great ? Way back in Feb/March he came home with a little plant from school. We had no idea what it was at the time. He wanted to plant it right then, but it was to cold. So I got to keep it alive until it was warm enough. Well, naturally he wanted it right out front in the flower garden and this is the end result. He has been so excited all summer that he has his very own plant in the garden !

It was 6 months in the making and we pulled it off without a hitch (almost) We did have to change a flat tire. But other than that we got to enjoy the most beautiful countrty I've ever seen in my life. We stayed in a cabin at the KOA and at a hotel in town. Met alot of nice people. Saw amazing wonders of nature and just got to spend time together without all the interptions life brings when your home. It was great and I couldn't have asked or hoped for a more perfect vacation. I promise I'm not just saying that !
